Blakemere Hill Trig Point

The Blakemere Hill trig point is another easy one. There’s a long lane that I parked at the entrance of. As you turn in off the road to get there, there’s enough room for a car to pull into. This is very much in the same vein as the Skenchill trig bag. How? It’s there on the side of the ropiest dirt track – which is why the car was abandoned at the earliest opportunity! Didn’t fancy that drama again!

About a half mile up the bridleway the Blakemere Hill trig point is on the right in the hedge.

A straight shot all the way – impossible to go wrong on this one and not much more to say about it!

However, I did find another shotgun shell casing but other than that, this was a quick, easy but uninteresting bag.

In fact, I’ve probably got more photos than words in this blog! Definitely had the weather on this one. Blue skies and a bit of sun. Views weren’t bad either. Not the most boring bag but again not the most interesting one either. However, another trig point in the bag!

The Blakemere Hill trig point bag isn’t particularly memorable but if this one hasn’t satisfied your craving, check out my other Herefordshire trig bags here.

I’ve got a sort of visual diary going on over on Instagram. If you’d like to connect over on there, I’ll follow back. If you came from Instagram, thank you for reading!

At time of publishing, this was number 25 of 70 so I’m racking them up – hopefully there will be more interesting ones than this!

This is where I parked – there’s a left turn just ahead. If you tuck in at the juntion, there’s room for one car. It says not to drive up the track so I parked up instead.
