The Dinedor Hill trig point bag was a pretty easy one. Heading eastwards for a change to mix things up. Although it was an easy one – it was up there with the best to date!
I parked at the edge of Sigeric Business Park – I’d be gone by the time the shops opened. There was a big gate which was obviously locked so over I went.
In the field, head up to the left corner.
Here you can just about get through a bit of a gate / fence thing. On your right is a gate – go through and follow the tracks through the field then into a small woods.
In the woods is a communications tower you can hear buzzing before you see it! Lots of rabbits too!
Around the right hand bend, the tracks end and it opens up into another field – this one was full of sheep and an old building was there too.
Head through the gate on your right and you can already see the trig pillar standing proud. Take a moment to take in the views, it was pretty good!
The Dinedor Hill trig point had some incredible views.
On one side you could see the whole of Hereford. The other side was the River Wye and countryside as far as the eye could see.
Two completes opposites, however both as magnificent as each other. Not much more to say about this one but take a second to check out the photos of the city in one direction and the countryside in the other. It was chilly, but the blue skies just added to it!
Had no idea this was right here on my doorstep! A quick easy one but well worth the effort. Let me know what you thought of this bag over on Instagram or leave a comment!
